● What's The Platecoil Flue Gas Heat Exchanger
The Platecoil gas cooler is a specialized gas heat exchanger for gas cooling, condensation, or heating. Its core element is the Platecoil® heat exchanger plate. A number of plates arranged in parallel and at intervals to form a heat exchanger plate group, which together with the gas inlet and outlet form the Platecoil gas cooler. Depending on the purpose of gas heat transfer, Platecoil gas coolers can be categorized into gas coolers, gas condensers and gas heaters. Gas coolers and gas condensers usually use cooling water as heat transfer medium, while gas heaters usually use steam or hot water as heat transfer medium. The different operating conditions of the gases and the spatial conditions of the site determine that every Platecoil gas cooler is different in its calculation and design. Each Platecoil gas cooler is a customized product.

Working Principle
The Platecoil heat exchange is the core heat exchange element of the Platecoil gas cooler. Even under highly turbulent conditions, the fluid pressure drop in the Platecoil heat exchange remains low.
The special structural design of the Platecoil® allows a high degree of turbulence to be realized at very low flow rates of the heat medium. This ensures a low resistance drop while obtaining a high heat transfer efficiency. The corrugated or dimpled surface of the expanded Platecoil® allows for high turbulence of the heat transfer medium at low flow rates, which improves the efficiency of the heat transfer while maintaining a low resistance drop.
